Lunch Basket
Posted in Longberger | Comments OffA school that I was fired from sent me a fruit basket when I was hired at another school. What does that mean?
Back in December, my food service manager let me go due to the mistakes I was making on the job.
This was at Frost Elementary.
I was hired at another cafertia, at an other school last month (Harper Elementary). One of the former subs, Ms.Pearl from Frost came down there to speak to the lunch ladies (because she used to work at Harper). She came to tell them that she was hired at Frost and how "nice" and "sweet" the manager was.
Well, earlier this week, as I was wiping down tables at the school, someone brought me a fruit basket from Paul's Market. It was a lovely handmade gesture and at first, I thought it was from the school I'm at now. I opened the card and it said "GOOD LUCK ON YOUR NEW JOB- FROST ELEMENTARY"
This surprised me because at first, I thought they hated me. I'm still not over them giving me the boot. Ms.Pearl must've told them that I was hired there.
But what does that mean? Do they feel bad for getting rid of me? Do they still like me? Whats up?
I think they feel bad for fireing you. If you made a mistake it wasn't really your fault so someone regrets.
