Gathering Ladybug

At least one hundred ladybugs are swarming around my doorway and home, and getting inside my home as well. I'm fearful because spiders will come around as long as there's food, which there is.
at this time of year what type of flowers you have does nothing for attracting lady bugs...they are looking for a place to wait out the winter. The color of your house or what material it is made of makes it warmer than maybe your neighbors house. It could be your home is at a different angle to the sun from your neighbors which is attracting them. You can treat the exterior with a pyrethroid based insecticide that may help. treat all the way up to there the wall and soffet meet.
