Cloth Liner
Posted in Longberger | Comments OffNeed a cloth diaper pail liner that works?
I'm looking to get a cloth diaper pail liner that really works. I've been trying to read reviews on the major ones (Blue Penguin, Blueberry, Mommy's Touch, Swaddlebees, Bummis) but it seems like there's always just as many people that argue against a certain liner as for it.
We are using an 8 gallon trash can with a spring loaded lid. It fits about 2 days worth of diapers which fits with how often I'm washing diapers. It's about 46 inches in circumference and about 18 inches high.
My little one has some stinky diapers.
She's a breastfed baby but the diapers get pretty ripe and her room often has a stinky smell. I have a tea tree oil spray that I keep spritzing around the room but am looking for something that will hold the smell in better.
I know that the bm for a breast fed baby is water soluble, but why don't you rinse of the diapers before you put them in the pail? My daughter has always been formula fed, so I have to rinse them off. There is never a smell, and it's really easy. I'm assuming it would be even easier with yours because you breast feed.
ETA: Then I just use a regular trash bag in my pale.
